Abdulelah Al-Sabhan – Known as “Sabhan” or “The Seventh”

A Saudi graffiti artist born in Riyadh. His journey began in 2005 on the streets of the capital, where the wall transformed from a passive surface to a voice, and the spray can from a wild tool into a conscious expression.

Sabhan started as an independent artist marking his presence in public spaces, challenging visual silence. Today, he stands as one of the longest-active and most influential graffiti artists in Riyadh.

Over the years, his style evolved from spontaneous tags to a structured visual language rooted in identity and culture.

Artistic Style

Sabhan’s work revolves around the Arabic letter, which he draws in a complex yet always readable form — a balance between abstraction and clarity.

While his early works focused on English lettering, he gradually shifted entirely toward Arabic, driven by a desire to reflect his identity, heritage, and Najdi roots.

His work fuses Najdi cultural elements, Islamic art motifs, geometric structures, and touches of abstract and caricatured styles.

For him, the Arabic letter is not just readable — it is visual, alive, and full of movement and energy.
